What it is
Is this coaching or consulting?
Neither. Coaches give you frameworks and leave. Consultants write reports and leave. We build the system inside your business and stay until it runs. You can see it working before we're done.
What does "Operating Partner" mean?
An Operating Partner works inside your business — not as an advisor watching from outside. They read your numbers. They're in your operating rhythm. They build systems that run without them. For 90 days, your Operating Partner is inside your business. They leave when it runs on its own.
What's the full sequence?
Position Check (free, 20 min) → Board Review ($1,500, half day) → Sprint (90 days) → The Operator Continuity Plan (monthly). Each step earns the next. You don't have to commit to the full sequence upfront. Start with the Position Check.
The Position Check
What is the Position Check?
A free 20-minute call. We look at where your business is right now. We tell you if the Board Review makes sense for you. No pitch. No pressure. If you're a fit, we explain what comes next. If you're not, we tell you that straight and what we'd suggest instead.
Is the Position Check really free?
Yes. No credit card. No commitment. It's 20 minutes. The Board Review ($1,500) is what comes after — but only if we both agree it makes sense.
Is it a sales call?
No. A sales call is when someone pitches you regardless of fit. We use this 20 minutes to figure out if we can actually help. If we can't, we say so. We'd rather lose 20 minutes than take your money and underdeliver.
What do I need to prepare?
Nothing. Just show up. We ask the questions. You answer. Have a rough sense of your revenue and team size — that's it.
The Board Review
What happens in the Board Review?
Half a day with your Operating Partner. Before the session, we send you a short prep list — three or four things to pull together. During the session, we look at your numbers, team, and time. By the end, we've named the primary problem and the highest-leverage first move.
What do I get from the Board Review?
Five written deliverables: a Board State Report, your Owner Dependency Score, Play Selection (1–3 best moves), a 90-Day Action Map, and a Sprint Eligibility Decision — a clear yes or no with full reasoning. All of it is yours to keep.
What's the $50K guarantee?
We guarantee we'll find at least $50,000 in annual waste or missed revenue in your business — from your own data. No benchmarks, no estimates. If we can't find it, you pay nothing. Every business we've worked with at $1.5M+ has had more than $50K in recoverable value.
What if I don't do the Sprint after?
You keep all five deliverables and can act on them yourself. The $1,500 credit toward the Sprint expires after 30 days, but the report doesn't.
The Sprint
How much time do I need to put in?
Five structured working sessions across 90 days. Plus time to make decisions and provide access as we build. We do the heavy lifting. We need you present enough to make calls and implement what we build together.
How is this different from hiring a COO?
A full-time COO costs $200K–$350K a year and takes 6+ months to hire. The Sprint starts 2–3 weeks after the Board Review. More importantly — we build a system. A COO is a person. When they leave, the knowledge leaves with them. What we build stays and runs without us.
What's the Sprint guarantee?
Show up to your sessions and give us access to your data. We guarantee three things by Day 90: a live dashboard, a Board State Report, and one system running in your business. If we don't deliver all three, we refund the Sprint fee in full.
Is the Sprint scope the same for everyone?
The core deliverables are fixed — every Sprint includes the live dashboard, monitoring layer, first system install, five working sessions, and Day 90 review. What varies is the specific system we build, which is determined by the Board Review constraint identification.
Fit and process
How do I know if I'm a fit?
The clearest sign: $1.5M+ in revenue, a team of 2–6, and you're still the one making every decision. Coaching or online education business. Book a Position Check — we'll confirm it in 20 minutes.
My revenue is below $1.5M. Can I still book?
You can book a Position Check — we'll be honest about whether the Board Review is the right move. Below $1.5M, the priority is usually growing revenue, not installing systems. We'll tell you that on the call.
I already have a COO. Does that disqualify me?
No. Many founders with a COO are still the bottleneck — the COO hasn't solved the underlying system problem. If you're still in every decision, we can still help. The only disqualifier is if your business already runs without you.
How fast can we start?
Position Checks are usually scheduled within a week of booking. Board Reviews start 1–2 weeks after that. Sprints begin 2–3 weeks after the Board Review closes — after agreements are signed and we have system access.
After the Sprint
What happens when the Sprint ends?
Most clients move to The Operator Continuity Plan — a monthly session, quarterly reset, and automated monitoring in the background. Some run independently on the systems we built. The Day 90 Board State Review shows you what makes sense.
Can this lead to a bigger conversation about my business?
For some clients, the relationship grows over time. Strategic partnerships, capital conversations, acquisition discussions — these things occasionally come up. We don't lead with them. When they're ever relevant, we disclose it before anything is signed. You'll never be surprised by it.
